Death
LIBERAL, Kan. (UPI) — A 62-year-old Baker, Okla., man was killed late Tuesday in a car-truck accident near the Kansas-Oklahoma border, the state highway patrol said. The victim was identified as Garland H. Furr. The patrol said Furr was dead on arrival at a local hospital about 10 p.m. The accident apparently occurred when Furr’s car crossed the center line of U.S. 54 about 2 1/2 miles west of Liberal and collided with a truck driven by Rickey C.
