Death
CONCORD — Nell Furr Rogers, 90, 193 Freeze Ave NW, died Sunday (Oct 3, 1993) at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. Born Jan 3, 1903, in Cabarrus County, Mrs. Rogers was a daughter of the late Wade H. and Kate Rowe Furr. The former operator of Rimertown Cafe, at the sale barn in Rimertown, she was a member of Bayless Memorial Presbyterian Church. Her husband, Everette Long “Buck’’ Rogers, died in 1981. Survivors include sister Gladys Furr Turner, Mount Ulla, and a number of nieces and nephews. Services: 11 am Wednesday, Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel, conducted by the Rev. John Lyles. Burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation: 7-8 30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials: Bayless Memorial Church, 418 Kerr St NW, Concord, NC 28025.Endnotes
