Death
CONCORD — Nannie Lee “Nan” Furr, 90, of Five Oaks Nursing Center, formerly of 3939 Cline School Road, died at 6 20 am Friday, March 29, 1991, at Cabarrus Memorial Hospital. The funeral will be conducted at 11 am Monday at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church with Dr. Paul Cooper officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will remain at Hartsell Funeral Home where the family will be from 6 to 8 pm Sunday. Memorials may be made to Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 4500 Rimer Road, Concord, NC. Born March 29, 1901, in Cabarrus County, she was a daughter of the late Wade H. and Kate Rowe Furr. A homemaker, she was a member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church and a charter member of the Cabarrus County Home Extension Club. Surviving are two sisters, Nell Rogers of Concord and Gladys Turner of Mount Ulla.Endnotes
