Death
MIDLAND — Mr. Ralph Alexander “Buck” Furr, 72, logger, died Dec. 16, 1991, at Duke University Medical Center in Durham. Funeral is 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church. Visitation is 6:30 to 8:30 tonight at Hartsell Funeral Home. Survivors are his wife, Annie; sons, Lee Furr of Oakboro, Billy Furr of Stanfield, Joe Furr; daughters, Mrs. Joyce McLaurin of Stanfield, Mrs. Fran Lanier; brothers, Bennie Furr of Kannapolis, Doug Furr of Carolina Beach, Jake Furr; sisters, Mrs. Carrie Spurback, Mrs. Hazel Klutz, both of Carolina Beach, Mrs. Ruth Brooks, Ms. Evelyn Hartsell.
