Death
CHARLOTTE Miss Helen Marie Furr, formerly of Concord, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at her home on Densmore Dr. Funeral services will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, March 30, at Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at 11 a.m. prior to service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Helen was born in Concord to the late Jonah and Daisy Kiser Furr. She was preceded in death by three sisters; and five brothers. Helen retired from Kraft Foods in Charlotte as a lab technician. She was a former member of Westford United Methodist Church and attended Plaza Baptist Church. She is survived by her caregiver, Peggy Vaughn; and a number of nieces and nephews.
