Death
Autie Marie Furr Pinion, 81, formerly of Midland, died May 30, 2000 at Britthaven of Charlotte. Her funeral will be held at First Baptist Church cemetery in Midland, Rev. Thomas Gibbs presiding. Visitation is today from 7-8:30 pm at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. Mrs. Pinion was born on June 13, 1918 in Stanly County, daughter of John and Mary Burris Furr.She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church, Midland. She was married to the late William Clifford Pinion. Surviving are a son, Irwin Pinion of Midland; brother, Roy Lee Furr of Locust; and grandsons, Chad and Chris Pinion.Endnotes
