Death
FUNERAL OF MR. EDGAR FURR. Death Occurred Saturday Night at Ten O'clock in Lemley's Township. The funeral of Mr. Edgar Furr,whose death occurred Saturday night at ten o'clock at his home in Lemley's township, was held from the residence yesterday at noon the services being conducted by Rev. A. T. Gresham, of Davidson. Death was due to pneumonia, which he contracted about a week ago. Besides his mother, father and sister, Miss Bella Furr, who lives at Mooresville, five brothers survive. These are: Mr. Chalmers Furr, county commissioner of this county; Rev. Walter Furr, Mr. V Junius Furr, Mr. Clarence Furr, and Mr. G. Furr, of Chapel Hill; also, a widow, who was Miss Lura McCoy, and three children, Samuel, Marie and Mildred Furr.The Charlotte News, Charlotte, North Carolina, January 15, 1907
