Death
GASTONIA, Feb. 16. — Mrs. Laura McCoy Furr, 67, died today at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Fred Primm, in McAdenville. She had been ill 8 days with pneumonia. Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Sunday afternoon at Bethel Presbyterian church in Mecklenburg county, and interment will be there. Mrs. Furr was born in Mecklenburg county, a daughter of the late Albert and Kate Potts McCoy. She was the widow of James E. Furr. Surviving are the following children: J. E. Furr, Jr. of Gastonia; Mrs. Fred Primm and Mrs. James Moore, of McAdenville, and Sam Furr of Mecklenburg county.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, February 17, 1935
