Death

ALBEMARLE — Victoria Furr Lorch, 94, of 926 Mill St., died at 4:45 a.m. today at Britt Haven Nursing Home. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hartsell Funeral Home, Lefler Memorial Chapel, in Albemarle, conducted by the Rev. John Hawn. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. The family will be at the home Friday night from 6 to 8. Born Feb 4, 1893, in Stanly County, she was a daughter of the late William C. and Mary Rogers Furr. A homemaker, she was a member of First Lutheran Church. Her husband, Henry Lorch, preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Hubert R. and Harold Lorche, both of Albemarle; a daughter, Mrs. Willie Joe (Clara) Allen of Albemarle; six grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
