Death
THE DAILY CURRENT-ARGUS, Carlsbad, Eddy County, New Mexico, dated for Wednesday, February 9, 1938, reads as follows:DEATH TAKES CITY WOMAN
Mrs. Ouida Furr, 38, died at 9:15 o'clock this morning at the family home at Rio Vista following a lingering illness. Funeral is tentatively set for Thursday, definite arrangements to be made when relatives arrive from Texas and Arkansas. Mrs. Furr was the first of 11 children in her family to die. She is survived by her husband, Carl T. Furr, carpenter at Potash Company of America; two daughters, Helen Frances, 14, and Ima Louise, 11; her mother, Mrs. Blackwell and 10 brothers and sisters.
