Mr. William Aaron "Bill" Wheatley, Jr., age 55, of 181 Blair Court, Lot. 1C, Blairs, VA, passed away on Friday, June 8, 2012 at the residence. He was born on Dec.23, 1956, to William A. Wheatley, of Pocahontas, VA and Doris Wheatley Furr, of Danville, VA. Mr. Wheatley worked for First Piedmont Inc. as a diesel mechanic and was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Melville Avenue Baptist Church. Bill loved fishing and his pet companions Lucy and Inky. Mr. Wheatley is survived by his wife Louise Chesher Wheatley of the home; two sisters: Cindy W. Durham, of Danville, VA and Angie W. McKinney and her husband Nathan, of Ruffin, NC; three nieces: Brandi Mills, Amandia Hughes, and Crystal Mckinney; four great nieces and three great nephews. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, June 11, 2012 at Melville Avenue Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Charles Swanson officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
