CHARLOTTE — The graveside service for Mrs. Carol Dean Charles Furr, 75, of 3014 Carol Ave., who died Monday, Jan. 24, 1994, at Transitional Nursing Home, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn Cemetery. A native of Union County, Mrs. Furr was retired from Knight Publishing Company and was a member of Glenwood ARP Church. Surviving are two sons, Michael W. Furr of Huntersville, N.C. and Charles Furr of Charlotte; her daughter, Susan F. Whitsonant of Rock Hill; two brothers, Oliver Charles of Union and Stuart Charles of Spartanburg; seven grandchildren and four great- grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Almond, Raymer & McConnell Funeral Home.The Herald, Rock Hill, South Carolina, January 26, 1994
