Death
ASHEBORO - James Lloyd Furr, 58, of Route 1 (Buffalo Ford Road) died May 20, 1992, at Randolph Hospital. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Spoons Chapel United Church of Christ, of which he was a member. Burial will be in Neighbors Grove Wesleyan Church cemetery. A native of Randolph County, he was the owner and operator of Randolph Sales & Service. Surviving are wife, Mrs. Faye Hill Furr; son, James Scott Furr of the home; daughter, Patty Evia of Merida, Mexico; mother, Florence S. Furr of Asheboro; brothers, Charles Leon Furr, Ronald Larry Furr, both of Asheboro. The family will be at Pugh Funeral Home 7-9 tonight. Memorial contributions may be made to Spoons Chapel United Church of Christ Building Fund, Route 1, Box 7, Asheboro, N.C. 27203.Endnotes
