Death
Samuel Furr, 67, of 2301 NW 43, died Wednesday in Veterans Administration Hospital after a long illness. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Methodist Park Cemetery. Furr, a native of Lonoke, Ark., came to Oklahoma City in 1945. He was a World War II veteran, member of the Veterans of Foreigh Wars and a retired interior decorator. He was a member of Christ Methodist Church. Survivors include two sons, David Allen, Edmond, and Kirk O’Neal, Stillwater; a brother, Harry L., Dallas; a sister Mrs. Carl Smith Jr., 10020 Mahler, Pl., and his parents, Mrs. Carrie Furr, Norman and Daniel Furr, Oklahoma City. Memorials may be made to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation.Endnotes
