Death
Mrs. Lucy Hartsell Furr, wife of Mr. Elj Furr, died this morning at 9 o’clock at her home at the Notcott Mill. She had been ill for about two weeks. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o’clock at the home and interment will be made in Union cemetery. Mrs. Furr was 55 years of age and is survived by her husband, and five children: Albert and Andersen Furr, Mrs. Froney Helms. Miss Annie Furr and Mrs. Lindy Billings.Two sisters, Mrs. Mandy Hartsell and Mrs. Magalene Allen, and three brothers, Lafayette, Webster and Jonas Hartsell survive also.Endnotes
