Death
Services for Mrs. W. H. (Kathryn D.) Furr of 4334 Ridgewood Cir. were held Monday, Sept. 14, at Covenant Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Phil Esty officiated. Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Furr died Sept. 11 at St. Dominic Hospital. A native of South Pittsburg, Tenn., she was a Jackson resident for 30 years. She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Survivors include her husband, W. H. Furr of Jackson; a daughter, Gayla Katsulis of Mission Viejo, Calif.; a son, W. Hugh Furr of Jackson; two brothers, Davis Corry Dickerson of Kingsport, Tenn., and Joe Preston Dickerson of Knoxville, Tenn. Burial was in the Wesson Cemetery in Wesson. Pallbearers were Carl Ray Furr, Tom Akin, Kenneth Renfrow, Kenneth Furr, Randy Furr and Richard Furr.The Northside Sun, Jackson, Mississippi, September 17, 1981
