Death
Mrs. Esther Farmer passed away July 4, 2013 at the age of 96. She was born to the late Mrs. Vallie Mae and Mr. Mack Furr on July 22, 1916 in the Little Byhalia community in Lincoln County, MS. She was married to the late William Earnest "Dutch" Farmer of Wesson, MS. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Percy Furr and Hugh Furr and three sisters Merle Terwilliger, Edith White and Maxine Kelly. She is survived by her daughter, Cleonae Reid of Strong Hope; granddaughter, Ashley Utley Walker and her husband, Josh Walker, of Memphis, TN; grandson, Mark Utley, Jr. of Holly Springs, MS; brother, Hilton Furr of Little Byhalia. Mrs. Farmer was an active member of Strong Hope Baptist Church and was an avid fisherman and gardener. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:30-3:00 at Strong Hope Baptist Church with services to follow at 3pm at Strong Hope Baptist Church and burial at Strong Hope Cemetery.
