Death
STANFIELD — Ethel Lee Furr Eudy, 85, 9629 Mission Church Road, died Sunday (Jan. 21, 1996) at Stanly Manor, Albemarle. Born Aug. 10, 1910, Stanly County, Mrs. Eudy was a daughter of the late Phillip Monroe and Laura Jane Furr Furr. Retired from Kerr Bleachers, Concord, she was an inspector. She was a member of Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church. Her husband, Lawson L. Eudy, preceded her in death. Survivors include brothers Ellis Furr, Mount Pleasant, Homer and Ernest Furr, both of Concord, and J. Dois Furr, Albemarle; sisters Dorsie Furr, Albemarle, and Mrs. Krome H.(Mary Lou) Eudy, Stanfield; stepsons Doyle Eudy, New London, Worth Eudy, Locust, and Arnold and Hal Eudy, both of Stanfield; stepdaughter Janelle Wiley, Oakboro; a number of step-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday,Bear Creek Primitive Baptist Church, conducted by Elder Ted Morgan and Elder Roy Spears. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle. At other times the family will be at the home of sister, Mary Lou Eudy, 9629 Mission Church Road.Endnotes
