Death
William “Bill” Thomas Linebarrier, 85, of Asheboro died Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Clapp’s Convalescent Nursing Home, Asheboro. Mr. Linebarrier was born Feb. 18, 1932, at Kannapolis, N.C., the son of Wade V. Linebarrier and Lillie Furr Linebarrier. Bill was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. An electrician by trade, he had worked for Vick Brothers Electric and Klaussner Furniture and then retired from Sara Lee. He served for a while as an electrical inspector for the City of Asheboro. He was a member of Neighbors Grove Wesleyan Church. He was preceded in death by wife, Madeline Murray Linebarrier in September 2016; brother, George; and sisters, Audrey Vanderburg, Gail Kawahara and Becky Farlow. He is survived by one brother, Paul E. Linebarrier of Liberty, N.C.; sister-in-law, Loretta Linebarrier of Asheboro, N.C.; brothers-in-law and their wives, Vern and Lou Murray of Orlando, Fla., and Bud and Diane Murray of Naples, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside funeral will be conducted Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 U.S. 220 Business N., Asheboro, with Pastor Wyatt Hoogkamp officiating and military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
