Dora Lee Furr married Thomas F. Baldwin sometime in the late 1890's. They lived in and around Rock Hill, SC where the children were born. Their first son, Homer was born in 1900. They eventually raised seven boys and four girls. Dora Lee died May 7, 1950 and was buried in the Norwood Cemetery in Norwood, NC.

Death
NORWOOD, May 8 — Mrs. T. F. Baldwin, 64, of Norwood, died at Mercy Hospital in Charlotte last midnight after illness of a month. Surviving are eight sons, Homer, Wiler, Pines, and Millard, all of Norwood, Luther of Ansonville, Carl of Jamestown, Paul of High Point, and Ray of Battlecreek, Mich.; four daughters, Mrs. Lawrence Sellars of Cheraw, S. C., Mrs. Lloyd Gaddy of Jamestown, Mrs. Bessie Edwards of Charlotte, and Mrs. Hurley Bowers of Albemarle; three brothers, Eddie, Keither, and George Furr; and 15 grandchildren. Funeral will be held at 3 p. m. Tuesday at the Norwood Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Norwood Cemetery.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, May 9, 1950
