Death
CHILDRESS - Hazel Lucille Newberry, 91, died Monday, Jan. 9, 2006.Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Sims and the Rev. Chad Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Childress Cemetery by Johnson Funeral Home. Mrs. Newberry was born Nov. 3, 1914, in Polk County, Ark. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Eva Jean Moore Wilhite of Childress; a sister, Myrtle Mann of Security, Colo.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
