Death
Funeral services for Mrs. Hetty Culp, age 72, were held Saturday afternoon at 4 o’clock from the Cypert Church of Christ with Brother Jack Parham and Brother John Maddison officiating. Mrs. Culp, widow of Bogan Culp, died at her home Friday morning. She is survived by one son, Buford Culp of Marvell; three daughters, Mrs. Josephine Griffin of Elaine and Mrs. Dorothy Polk and Mrs. Barbara Sims, both of Marvell: three brothers, Max Furr of Atlanta, Ga., Hirman Furr of Marvell and Cephus Furr of Memphis; two sisters, Mrs. Lizzie Manning of Memphis and Mrs. Amy Kirkpatrick of Atlanta; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Interment was in the Cypert Cemetery under the direction of Citizens Funeral Home.The Daily World, Helena, Arkansas, September 18, 1977
