Death
Mr. J B Furr, a notice of whose critical illness appeared in THE STANDARD sometime ago, died Wednesday evening at 5 o'clock, of Bright’s disease. Mr. Furr had been a great sufferer for several years. He was about 63 years of age. Rev. V R Stickley, of Enochville will conduct the funeral from the house tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock and the interment will take place at Poplar Tent. Mr. Furr was one of the best farmers in No. 4 township, and was a familiar figure on the streets of Concord during the cotton seasons.Endnotes
