Death
NORMAN — Mrs. Viola May Furr, 69, a long-time Oklahoma resident, died Sunday in a Norman hospital after a three-month illness. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in McFarlin Methodist Church. Burial will be in Noble IOOF Cemetery under direction of Meyer & Meyer Funeral Home. A native of Texas, she came to Noble in 1919 and moved to Norman in 1948. She was a member of the Methodist Church, the Eastern Star Order and the White Shrine. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Unice Tuma, Norman, and Mrs. Anita Ruth Crews, Littleton, Colo.; a sister and five brothers, and three grandchildren.The Daily Oklahoman, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, March 7, 1960
