Death
Former Ventura County resident Lois H. Furr, 77, of Tucson, Arizona, died May 27, 1994, in Tucson following a long illness. Mrs. Furr was born February 9, 1917, in Des Moines, Iowa. She was employed by the Broadway in Ventura as a sales clerk and retired in 1984. Mrs. Furr is survived by her son Jerry Furr of Rio Grande, Calif.; daughters Carolyn Donwen of Helena, Montana and Betty Lancaster of Tucson, Arizona; sister Jean Holmen of LaPalma, Calif.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be Friday at 2:00 p.m. at Ivy Lawn Cemetery, Ventura. Arrangements are under the direction of the Ted Mayr Funeral Home, Ventura.Ventura County Star, Ventura, California, June 2, 1994
