Death
Services for Mrs. Eva Ellen Stewart, who died at 9:05 yesterday morning at her home on Shelby Drive at Capleville, will be held at 2:30 this afternoon at National Funeral Home. The Rev. Frank Jones and the Rev. P. H. Wiley will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park. She was 60. Born at Holly Springs, Miss., Mrs. Stewart moved to Capleville 25 years ago. Her husband, Arthur Benton Stewart, an employee of the Railway Express Agency, Inc., died three years ago. She was a member of the Capleville Methodist Church. She leaves her son, Gus Stewart of Oakville, and three daughters, Mrs. Carrie Thompson, Miss Elizabeth Stewart and Miss Annie May Stewart, all of Memphis.The Commercial Appeal, Memphis, Tennessee, September 17, 1947
