Services for Mrs. Sam Furr, Sr,. 79, were held at the First United Methodist Church. A Young County resident for 50 years, she was a homemaker and member of the Methodist Church. She moved to Olney seven years ago. Survived by one son - Sam Furr, Jr.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers - A.M. and Don Weilenman; three sisters - Mrs. J.M.
