Death

NEWTON — Funeral rites for Craig Alan Furr, two-year-old son of Cyril Furr and Elizabeth Ann Lee Furr of Newton, were conducted this morning at eleven o'clock at the First Baptist church here. The Rev. Harold Tester officiated and burial was in Catawba Memorial Park. He died Saturday afternoon in Baptist hospital at Winston-Salem following a brief illness. Also surviving are a brother, David Brian Furr and a sister, Janet Lynn Furr, both of the home; and the grandmother, Mrs. W. R. Furr of Newton. Drum funeral Home at Conover was in charge of arrangements.
