Death
ALBEMARLE - Pauline Elizabeth Bowers Andrews Furr, 69, of Route 6, Pennington Road, died at 1:55 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, 1992, at Britthaven Nursing Home. The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Officiating will be the Rev. Tim Sheridan and the Rev. Glen Holland. Burial will be in Fairview Memorial Park. The family will be at Hartsell Funeral Home from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and at the home of a sister, Hazel Furr, 1405 Pennington Road, the remainder of the time. Born Feb. 9, 1923 in Albemarle, Mrs. Furr was a daughter of the late George Washington and Eula Louise Bowers Andrews. A retired winder hand for Wiscassett Mills Co., she was a member of the Seventh-day Advantist Church. A son, Darrell Furr, preceded her in death. Survivor include another sister, Ruby Harwood of New London: and a brother, Kenneth Andrews of Albemarle.The Salisbury Post, Salisbury, North Carolina, October 13, 1992
