Death
OROVILLE — A funeral for Beulah Conover, 103, of Oroville, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Scheer Memorial Chapel. She died Tuesday, Jan. 31, 1995, at a local convalescent hospital. Mrs. Conover was born April 1, 1891, in Mena, Ark. She grew up in Cherry Hill, Ark., and later lived in Stuart, Okla., from 1936 to 1976 when she moved to Oroville. Mrs. Conover was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting. She was a member of Bird Street Church of Christ. Survivors include a daughter, Fay Veazey of Oroville; three sons, Frank of Cruthers, Calif., Ray of Stuart, Okla., and Geary of Oroville; her half-sister Hazel Evans of Farmington, Mo.; 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and more than 32 great-great-grandchildren. Burial will be a Arpelar Cemetery in Arpelar, Okla.Enterprise-Record, Chico, California, February 3, 1995
