Death
Graveside services were conducted Monday in St. Peter Catholic Cemetery, Westernport, Md., for John H. Crist Jr., 73, formerly of Luke, Md. and most recently of Ellenton, Fla., who died Saturday evening at Mountain View Hospital, Tyrone, Pa. Fredlock Funeral Home was in charge of the services. Born in Luke, he was a son of the late John H. Crist and Fannie (Kohler) Crist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah (Ord) Crist. He worked at the Westvaco Luke mill from 1942 to 1946, then transferred to the Westvaco Tyrone mill, from which he retired in 1972 as chief plant engineer. He is survived by a son, Charles Crist, Mechanicsburg, Pa.; two daughters, Mrs. Frances Ann Nyman, Alexandria, Va. and Mrs. Deborah Barlett, Warrior's Mark, Pa.; one sister, Mrs. Sara Shelton, Ellenton, Fla., and eight grandchildren.The Herald, Piedmont, West Virginia, December 1, 1981
