ALBEMARLE — Lucille Crawford Clark, 74, 121 Garfield Ave., died Thursday (May 4, 2000) at her home. Born June 22, 1925, in Union County, Mrs. Clark was a daughter of the late Fred Marsden and Flavilla Brantley Crawford. A retired florist, she owned and operated Lucille’s Flower and Hobby Shop. She was a member of West Albemarle Baptist Church, where she was a former Sunday school teacher and Bible school worker. She also did volunteer work with the Alzheimer’s unit at Britthaven of the Piedmont. Survivors include husband Martin Dennie Clark; sons Stephen and Tony Clark, both of Barnwell, S.C.; daughter Dianne Clark Gold, Tega Cay, S.C.; brother Alfred Crawford, Hampton, Va.; sister Wanda Eggleston, Burlington; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Services: 2 today, Hartsell Funeral Home’s Lefler Memorial Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Rob Roberts and the Rev. Mike Dunn. Burial, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church cemetery, Oakboro.
