Death
Home of His Son in This City — Funeral and Burial This Afternoon. Mr. James F. Thompson, aged 65 years and six months, died at the home of his son, Mr. Grover Thompson, on South Church street, last evening shortly after 9 o'clock of paralysis and a complication of troubles, having been in ill health for some time. The funeral took place from the residence this afternoon at 2 o'clock and the interment was in Chestnut Hill cemetery, the funeral being conducted by Rev. J. L. Kirk of the Baptist church. Surviving are two sons and two daughters, these being Mr. Grover Thompson, a linotype operator on the Post; John Thompson of Albemarle; Miss Mary Thompson of Albemarle and Mrs. Frankie Collins of Salibury.Salisbury Evening Post, Salisbury, North Carolina, October 4, 1918
