MATHIS, Stevia Passed away peacefully in Sebastopol on January 9, 2005 at the age of 91. Wife of the late Lt. Col. Blaine Mathis. Dear mother of Betty Furr-Alvarado and her husband Eduardo of Sebastopol, Stephen Mathis and his wife Susan of Mojave, CA and Anne Hesse and her husband Bob of Centennial, CO. Grandmother of Edward and Marsha Beal of Corvallis, OR, Russell and Deborah Beal of Pilot Hill, CA, Rob and Carol Murdock of Portland, OR, David and Jennifer Murdock of Broomfield, CO and Donald, Alison and Amanda Mathis all of Mojave, CA. Great grandmother of six. Stevia enjoyed spending time with her family and was very proud of being a member of Queen Esther Chapter 202 OES at Monett, Missouri for over 50 years. She was also a member of the West Santa Rosa Baptist Church for over 45 years. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday, January 13, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY - SEBASTOPOL, 301 S. Main St., Sebastopol, CA. Burial will be at Golden Gate National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite charity.
