Mrs. Zell Bearden Hatcher, age 67 of Douglasville, died September 3. Funeral services will be Monday, September 6, 2 p.m. at the Abercrombie Chapel of Rosehaven Funeral Home. Pastor Dr. Tom Atwood and Rev. Jesse Napoli officiating, interment, Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Hatcher was a retired Rural Mail Carrier for 16 years for the U.S. Post Office and a member of the Prays Mill Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband, William O. Hatcher, Douglasville; mother, Thelma Bearden, Douglasville; children, Mr. and Mrs. Eric (Phyllis) Watts, Snellville; Mr. and Mrs. David (Cheryl) Gidden, Douglasville; Mr. & Mrs. Thomas (Lori) Furr, Lithia Springs; sisters, Mr. & Mrs. William (Annice) Ray, Douglasville; Ms. Charlotte Canmer, Austell; Miss Gayle Bearden, Douglasville; brother, Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Bearden, Douglasville; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Visitation hours are from 2 to 4 and 6 until 9 p.m. Sunday at Rosehaven Funeral Home, 942-4246.
