CMSGT. William O. (Bill) Hatcher, U.S. Air Force (Ret.), age 77 of Douglassville, Georgia, died January 2, 1997. Mr. Hatcher was born in Atlanta, son of the late Joseph Edward and Willie Pace Hatcher. Mr. Hatcher was a veteran of W.W. II, a retired aircraft fabricator for Lockheed and a cabinet maker. He was a member and deacon at Prays Mill Baptist Church in Douglasville, He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Zell B. Hatcher. Survivors: daughters and sons in-law, Phyllis H. and Eric B. Watts, Snellville, GA; Cheryl H. and David C. Glidden, Douglasville; Lori A. and Thomas E. Furr, Lithia Springs; sisters, Evelyn Sayer, Carollton, GA; Margaret Williams, Lakewood, CA; Thelma Woods, Covington, GA; Gloria Tarver, Tucker, GA; Jeanette Stephens, Newman, GA; 7 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. The service for Mr. Hatcher will be Saturday, January 4 at 2 o'clock at Rosehaven Chapel with Rev. Jesse Napoli, interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, January 3 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Rosehaven Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.Endnotes
