Death
RUPERT – Rene Rowley, 64, Rupert, died Saturday, August 13, 1988, at her home in Rupert. She was born June 27, 1924, at Corona N. M., the daughter of Lum an Theda Jones Richards. She married Harold D. Rowley, April 29, 1961, at Albuquerque, N.M. They loved in New Mexico, moving to the Mini-Cassia area in 1975. She loved to bowl an was a member of the Sweet Adelines where she served as president. She was a very active member of the Church of Christ. Rene was a friend to everyone she met and shoed her love openly. She is survived by her husband of Rupert; one son and daughter-in-law, Glen and Christine Rowley, of Heyburn, one daughter, Jeri L. Rowley, Seattle, Wash., and one sister, Wilma Kelly, Socorro, N. M., and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, in the McCulloch Chapel with Rev. J.D. Zinck officiating. Friends may call at McCulloch’s, Tuesday from 6 to 8:30 p.m. and Wednesday one hour prior to services. The family suggests memorials may be made to the Rene Rowley memorial fund and can be left at McCulloch’s.South Idaho Press, Burley, Idaho, August 15, 1988
