Death
Mrs. C. Homer Furr, 38, of the Plaza died in a local hospital yesterday morning at 10:20 o'clock after a brief illness. She is survived by her husband, C. H. Furr; two children, James and Evelyn Furr; four sisters, Mrs. Vennie Forrest of Salisbury, Mrs. Mildred Allen of Wilmington, Mrs. Bessie Jones of New York City and Mrs. Myrna Begoff of Detroit, Mich.; four brothers, R. H. Kirk of Badin, Clifton and June Kirk of Verna, and Glenn Kirk of Pour Oaks, Texas. Funeral services will be held Saturday morning at 11 o'clock at Belmont Park Methodist church, conducted by Rev. Mr. Hipp, assisted by Rev. Elzie Myers. Burial will be in Oaklawn cemetery. Active pallbearers will be W. C. Timmons, W. H. Stilwell, Archie Sikes, W. B.
