RUSSELLVILLE — Funeral for Mrs. Mandy Melessie Hill, 81, of Hollis (Perry County), who died Saturday in Springfield, Ore., was today with arrangements by Gardner Funeral Home. She was the widow of John R. Hill and a member of the Valley Home Missionary Baptist Church. Survivors include five sons, Francis Hill and Oral Hill of Springfield, Willie Hill and Lee Hill of California and Clarence Hill of Hollis; two daughters, Mrs. Mamie Hawks of Oregon and Mrs. Clara Sikes of California; two brothers, William Furr of Hollis and Jim Furr of Little Rock: two sisters, Mrs. Martha Weaver of Hollis and Mrs. Sarah Ann Blankenship of California; 36 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.Arkansas Democrat, Little Rock, Arkansas, November 6, 1964
