John Thomas Furr, 68, 1000 Poplar, North Little Rock, died today at his home. He was born in Perry County, but had lived in North Little Rock for the past eight years. He had farming and livestock interests in Perry County. He was a maintenance man in the Pyramid Building. He was a member of the Baptist Church in Hollis, Ark. Survivors include his widow, Ima Louise Furr; two sons, William R. Furr, Little Rock, and George W. Furr, North Little Rock; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Kirby, Tucson, Ariz., and Mrs. Mae Dale Barels, Lonoke; one step-daughter, Mrs. Imogene North, Lake City, Fla.; one step-son, Bobby Gene Ford, England; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Weaver, Hot Springs; Mrs. Mandie Hill, Hollis, and Ms. Sarah Blankenship, Portland, Ore.; two brothers, Jim Furr, North Little Rock, and William Furr, Hot Springs, and 15 grandchildren, Funeral arrangements will be announced by Owens and Co.Arkansas Democrat, Little Rock, Arkansas, March 19, 1956
