Death
High Point. — Funeral service for Charles Henry Myers, 64, who died at his home here Tuesday night at 9:40 o'clock after three months’ illness, will be held at the home this afternoon at 2 o’clock, with Rev. W. R. Kelly and Rev. Thomas T. Lindsay officiating. Mr. Myers came to High Point in 1922 and for a number of years was construction foreman for R. G. Lassiter Company. His health began to fail ten years ago. He was born in Davidson County, April 11, 1881, son of William A. and Annie Leonard Myers. He was a member of Main Street Methodist Church and of Guilford Council No. 23, Junior Order. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Furr Myers, a niece and five nephews.Winston-Salem Journal, Winston-Salem, North Carolina, April 26, 1945
