Death
MERIDIAN, — Funeral services were held Friday at 10 a. m. at Stephens Funeral Home for Mrs. Nettie Virginia Calhoun Furr, who died Thursday at St. Joseph hospital. Dr. Bruner H. Hunt officiated. Burial was in Magnolia cemetery. Mrs. Furr is survived by her husband, J. B. Furr of Meridian; son, Dr. Bruister C. Robinson of Iowa City; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Burton Robinson of Pascagoula; mother, Mrs. W. S. Calhoun of Meridian; two sisters, Mrs. John Armstrong of Delhi, La. and Mrs. H. A. Bowles of Al Hambra, Calif.; four brothers, Leverne C. Calhoun, Ewell I. Calhoun, both of Meridian; John G. Calhoun and Walter B. Calhoun of Baton Rouge, La.; and three grandchildren.Clarion-Ledger, Jackson, Mississippi, May 9, 1954
