Death
Mrs. Edith Lucille Hatchell, 68, widow of Elbert B. Hatchell, died Sunday at a local hospital. Born in Manning, she was a daughter of the late William Daniel and Claudia Lee Lloyd. She was a retired employee of Electro Motive Manufacturing Co., and a Baptist. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gail Patricia Hopkins of Florence and Mrs. Sonja Faye Furr of Summerville; a son, Barry E. Hatchell of Florence; a sister, Mrs. Violet Revell of Florence; two brothers, Herbert Lloyd of Charleston and Fred Lloyd of Sumter; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Waters Funeral Home, with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery.The State, Columbia, South Carolina, March 14, 1983
