Death

LOCUST -- Mr. Huneycutt, age 66, died Friday, January 30, 2004 at Stanly Memorial Hospital, Albemarle, NC. Born March 15, 1937 in Monroe, he was the son of Catherine Springs Huneycutt and James Claude Huneycutt. He was a self employed diesel mechanic and served in the US Army Reserve. The funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at Hartsell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Berry officiating. Burial will be in Meadow Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Locust, NC. Visitation is 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at Hartsell Funeral Home-Midland. The family will meet at the home of his son, Dale Huneycutt, 1408 E. Main St., Locust. Survivors include sons, Darrell Huneycutt of Locust, Dale Huneycutt of Locust, Steve Huneycutt of Locust; daughter, Kim Pruser of Indian Trail; brother, Charles Huneycutt of Locust; sister, Catherine Furr of Locust; and 5 grandchildren.
