STANFIELD - Catherine Springs Huneycutt 84 of 20622 Coley's Store Road, Stanfield, NC, died Saturday, September 11, 1999 at Stanly Memorial Hospital, Albemarle, NC. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, September 13, 1999 at Carolina Presbyterian Church, Locust, NC, with Rev. Patrick Womack officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 PM this evening at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland. Born Nov. 28, 1915 in Union County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Charlie Hall Springs and Lucinda Conder Springs. She was a homemaker and member of Carolina Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Claude Huneycutt. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Huneycutt and Charles Huneycutt, both of Stanfield; daughter, Mrs. Kitty Sue Furr of Locust; brother, Joe C. Springs of Monroe; sisters, Mrs. Mary S. Broome of Charlotte and Mrs. Bobbie Lue Godfrey of Daytona Beach, Fla; 10 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. The family will be at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Kitty Sue Furr, 17392 Pond Road, Locust, NC. Memorials may be made to: Carolina Presbyterian Church, 406 Renee Ford Road, Locust, NC 28097. Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Huneycutt family.
