Death
Beatrice C. Fowler, 84, died Fri day, August 27, 1999, at Brian Center, in Mooresville. F uneral is 2:00 PM Monday, at McEwen Funeral Service, Charlotte Chapel, with The Reverend Gene Shelton and The Reverend Loran Livingston, Pastors of Central Church of God, officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM, Sunday, at the funeral home. Mrs. Fowler, a native of Toccoa, Georgia, was a homemaker and a member of Central Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert T. Fowler and her sons, Elbert Till Fowler and Roger Dale Fowler. Surviving are daughters, Mary Penegar and husband Henry Penegar of Monroe, NC, Jeanette Kenley, Bonnie Way and Linda Furr, all of Charlotte; son, Curtis Fowler and wife Donna Fowler of Charlotte; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; sister, Katie Smith, Irene Murray, Lucille Phillips and Christine Howard.
