Linda Gail Fowler Furr, a cherished soul whose life was a tapestry of love, creativity, and devotion, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2026, at the age of 78. Born on August 15, 1947, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Linda was the beloved daughter of Elbert T. Fowler and Beatrice Collins Fowler. She was the heart of her family and the light in the lives of all who were fortunate to know her. Linda's early years in Winston-Salem were shaped by the love and camaraderie she shared with her siblings. Though she was predeceased by her parents, her twin brother Roger, her brother Bucky, and her sisters Mary, Jeanett, and Bonnie, Linda cherished her childhood memories and always spoke of her family with great affection. Her brother Curtis Fowler, along with his wife Donna, survives her and holds dear the bond they shared throughout the years. Married to Roger M. Furr, Sr., Linda and Roger built a life rich in love and laughter. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Sue Furr Lefler (Scott) and Roger Michael Furr, who were the pride and joy of their lives. Linda's legacy continues through her five grandchildren, James Furr (Kelly), Maddison Reynolds (Rusty), Patrick Reynolds, Chloe Furr, and Michael Furr, and her four great-grandchildren, Aubrey and Silas Furr, and Cheyenne and Scarlett Reynolds. Her family was her greatest treasure, and she reveled in the joy of their company, particularly during the holidays and special occasions when the house would fill with the laughter and love of her cherished family. Linda's professional life was as vibrant as her personality. A florist by trade, she had a natural gift for bringing beauty into the world through her creative and skillful arrangements. Her home was a testament to her love of plants and flowers, always brimming with life and color. Her garden was her sanctuary, a place where she spent countless hours nurturing the earth and cultivating beauty. A woman of deep faith, Linda's relationship with Jesus was the cornerstone of her life. Her faith provided her with strength and comfort, guiding her through the joys and challenges of life.
