Death

Doris Warwick Earp, 86 years of age, of Concord, North Carolina, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2018, at her home. Doris was born June 23, 1932, in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, to the late James Morris and the late Hazel Annie Furr Warwick. Her husband, William H. Earp; and her brother, David Lee Warwick, also preceded her in death. The family will receive family and friends from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Monday, November 19, 2018, at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel, 7428 Matthews-Mint Hill Road in Mint Hill, North Carolina. The funeral service will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, November 20, 2018, also at McEwen Funeral Service-Mint Hill Chapel. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens, 8901 Lawyers Road, Mint Hill, North Carolina. Doris was a loving wife, mother and Maw. She loved to cook, drink her coffee while watching birds or working puzzles and crossword puzzles. She enjoyed being with her family. Survivors include sons, Billy Earp and wife, Cathy, of Indian Trail, North Carolina, and Ronnie Earp and wife, Beverly, of Weddington, North Carolina; daughters, Cathey Kennett and husband, Gary, of Concord, North Carolina, and Lorie Pressley and husband, David, of Indian Trail, North Carolina; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and number eight due in April 2019.
