Death

Sharon Pennington, age 59, a resident of Dierks, Arkansas died Thursday, June 29, 2006 at her home. She was born March 27, 1947 in Umpire to Wingo and Inez Keith Manasco. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Pennington was preceded in death by her husband, Lester A. Pennignton on February 22, 2006; her father; one brother, Charles Manasco and one sister, Phyllis Manasco. She is survived by 7 children, Bryan Billings of Center Point, and Devonda Furr of Cave City, AR, Vickie Chambers and Lester Pennington, Jr., both of Nashville, AR, Connie Wilkerson of Hot Springs, Randy Pennington of Dierks, and Ricky Pennington of Kirby, AR; her mother, Inez Manasco of Umpire; two sisters, Fern Linville of Umpire and Carolyn Wakefield of Nashville; and 13 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, July 2, 2006 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel in Dierks with Rev. John Henry Williams and Rev. Bruce Short officiating. Burial will follow in the Galena Cemetery in Umpire. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 1, 2006 at the funeral home in Dierks.
