Death
Julia Shipes was born July 6, 1932, passed on December 10th 2018. She passed away at home with her family. She lost her husband January 21st, 2015. They were married 63 years. Then she lost her son Ronald Dale Shipes from cancer July 8th, 2017. She is survived by her daughters Sara Hoyle of Iron Station, Patsy Payne of Charlotte, Kathy Furr and Husband Russell of Charlotte, and Son David Eugene Shipes Jr. of Charlotte and Daughter in Law Robin Shipes of Charlotte, Grandchildren Dale, Daniel, Yvette, Ronald, Sara, Julianna, Christopher, David, Pam and Fiance Donnie, Michelle and Husband Jamie, Amy and Fiancé Adam and 14 Great Grandchildren. Eulogy will be by Pastor David Turner. A memorial Service for Julia will be held on Saturday December 15, 2018 from 1:00pm-2:00pm at Durham Memorial Baptist Church 1601 Toddville Rd.
